Girl 27 [Stenn, 2010]

Girl 27

Girl 27 was directed by David Stenn and chronicles the heartbreaking story of Patricia Douglas, who was raped as a 19-year-old girl by executives at a 1937 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studio party.

This led to the most famous scandal cover-up in Hollywood history and perhaps the first federal rape case; the infamous case might have been swept under the rug by MGM studio executives and in the press, forgotten for six decades, but it had devastating effects for Patricia, rippling through every part of her life and forever haunting her for her remaining years.

This film is currently streaming on Netflix!
